This bike rack was inspired by the Knowlton Hall of architecture. This bike rack plays off of three key features from Knowlton. First the overall modern style of architecture, the lack of color, and finally the use of empty space. This bike rack contrasts all three of those elements, with the use of a Gothic-styled stained glass window and placing it in the middle of an area by Knowlton that is otherwise just empty space.
